Eurovision Young Musicians 2018 took place in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

The 2018 edition of Eurovision Young Musicians was the largest since 2006 with 18 countries taking part. The competition took place across several nights with Semi-Finals on 18th and 19th August, the Final took place on 23rd August. The 19th edition of the event was hosted in Edinburgh by BBC Scotland and BBC Radio 3, in collaboration with the Edinburgh International Festival.
After a dazzling Final bursting with young talent, pianist Ivan Bessonov from Russia was announced winner of Eurovision Young Musicians 2018. He performed Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No 1, 3rd movement. Slovenia's Nikola Pajanović finished second.
