The 6th edition of the Eurovision Young Musicians competition took place at the Cirque Royal in Brussels, Belgium on June 9, 1992.

The two countries that took part for the first time in the final of the Young Musicians competition ended up in the top 2 positions: Poland (winner) and Spain (runner-up). A total of 8 countries made it to the final (United Kingdom, Norway, Finland, Austria, Denmark, Spain and Poland).

The young musicians were accompained by the Belgian National Symphony Orchestra directed by Ronald Zollman.
