EYM2018

The 2014 Eurovision Young Musicians competition took place in Cologne, Germany.

After Vienna, Eurovision Young Musicians travelled to Cologne, Germany, to the Cologne Cathedral. Fourteen countries participated and all fourteen performed in the Grand Final on the 31st of May.

However, a preliminary round was held on the 26th and 27th of May, where each musician played a piece of up to 15 minutes. In the Grand Final each musician played for a maximum of five minutes.

The candidates were accompanied by the WDR Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Estonia's Kristiina Poska.

Austria's Ziyu He won the contest, with Slovenia's Urban Stanič and Hungary's Gergely Devich placing second and third respectively.
